NEURODIVERGENT-AFFIRMING THERAPY

As a neurodivergent -affirming therapist, I take a strength-based and anti-oppressive approach to working with clients. Through modalities such as sensory exploration and somatic experiencing, I help clients experience their wholeness and innate value. My goal is to provide neurodivergent-affirming care by exploring psychosomatic needs and overall nervous system health. I work collaboratively with clients to find tools and strategies that best support each individual's unique symptoms.

I can also help with understanding and normalizing social and learning differences; focusing on the systemic and mental health impacts on neurominorities. Please note: I do not provide psychoeducational assessments or diagnoses, but will support you in your journey to finding appropriate providers.

Autism

I take a neurodivergent-affirming and compassion-focused approach when working with Autistic folks. I support in areas such as emotional regulation, autistic burnout, alexithymia, sensory processing, and demand avoidance. Sessions may focus on unpacking layers of trauma and systemic discrimination towards autistic individuals. I do not focus on social skills, but rather self-advocacy, self-acceptance, and nervous system regulation.
